Swedish universities road show in Turkey

Between October 22 – 25 the Swedish Institute, together with seven Swedish universities, will visit four Turkish universities to talk to students about studying in Sweden.

The universities participating in the roadshow are Chalmers University of Technology, Jönköping University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Stockholm University, Stockholm School of Economics, Linneaus University and Lund University.  The Swedish Consulate-General in Istanbul has been a driving force behind the roadshow.

On Tuesday the group visited Özyeğin University just outside of Istanbul. Adam Sarac, Swedish Institute recounts what happened during the day:

– Özyeğin is a young university where students are invested in innovation and equality, so we felt as if we were in the right place. We set up tables and students came by during the whole day to talk to the representatives from the Swedish universities. There were many questions about the different Master’s programmes available and about life in Sweden in general.
