Food for Tomorrow – how food affects our future

How we eat changes the world. We need new ways of thinking about food: how and why we eat what we do, and how we can move in new directions in dealing with food issues that impact on our society. This is what the SI Food for Tomorrow initiative is about.

25 selected young minds from the Western Balkans and Sweden met up in Skopje 25-26 April at the creative workspace Public Room. During 24 hours  teams will identify challenges and solutions within the food system which they will develop together during the coming nine months.

The participants have different backgrounds and skills derived from start ups, incubators, NGO:s, reasearch institutes, city developers – all with a passion for food. The 24 h challenge will end with a press lunch where the teams will pitch their ideas with the goal is to show how sustainable food systems kan be strengthened and contribute to  increased knowledge about the impact of food in our societes.

Food for Tomorrow is arranged by SI togehter with Living Cities, WNEAT, Gro´up and partners on the Western Balkans.
