Capacity Boost in Sarajevo about UN sustainability goals

In September 2024, SI alumni from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia took part in a Capacity Boost workshop in Sarajevo. 11 SI alumni participated in a training that focused on a number of UN sustainability goals and how to implement them locally.

The capacity boost was organized by East West Bridge – an independent international research and expert network. It focused on sustainability goals 9, 11, 12 and 16 through subjects such as innovation, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and building strong institutions.

The event also fostered collaboration between alumni from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. It encouraged the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

The Capacity Boost initiative enables Sweden Alumni to apply for financial support to attend or arrange workshops, trainings, courses seminars or conferences of their choice. The purpose is to strengthen the capacity, knowledge and skill set of Sweden alumni.
