Visit the building Trikåfabriken (the Textile Factory), where an extension using “timber-on-top” technique has transformed an old industrial landmark in the center of Stockholm. Four old factory buildings and cultural landmarks have been converted to form a new hub and active center in a new area of the Swedish capital.
The timber-on-top technique allows for the preservation of old buildings. To extend them by adding floors on top also allows for a quick establishment of the worksite and an easier handling of goods at the premises. The new workspaces result in comfortable and healthy office environments for many.
