Young Swedish Design tours from North to South and East to West

The Swedish Design Association Svensk Form has together with the Ikea Museum produced an exhibition showing the the best of young Swedish design from 2004 to 2020.

The selection is made from the annual award Ung Svensk Form (Young Swedish Design) that taps into young and upcoming designers’ visions and ideas with sustainability at the core. The exhibition Sustain Able Voices showcases films and photographs of 23 design objects, and it is touring both in Sweden and abroad.

The international exhibition tour is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Institute and Swedish foreign missions with local partners.
Before the summer of 2021, the exhibition was exhibited at the Romainan Design Week in Bukarest and in June it was on show at MEGA in St Petersburg. The first autumn stop was the design festival 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen 16-18 September. After that, the exhibition will move to the southern hemisphere where it will be on show at the Kinshasa Design Festival in October, in the The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
